Servings for 5-6 people
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2/3 sup milk
- 1 1/3 cup potato flakes
- 2 2/3 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 1/3 sup milk
- 2 2/3 cup potato flakes
- Combine water, salt and butter
- Heat to a boil, remove from heat
- Add cold milk
- Stir in potato gently
- Let stand until moist, then whip lightly with fork
Some of the younger kinds though that they were good and vary fluffy.
